Roman Nose State Park – Oklahoma

I have been in Oklahoma for about 10 days now and explored around Woodward for places to ride but have only found small trails, nothing big yet. So a few days back I go on the iPhone App Store and find this cool app called Mountain Bike Trails for $1.99 you can also check out there website at www.trailfu.com. I spend the money and buy the app and the first ride I find is Roman Nose State Park outside Watonga Oklahoma. So I pack Sam up and let the app guide me to the Trailhead about 75 miles away from Woodward Oklahoma.
Roman Nose has some all around great fast flowy singletrack riding. Many consider this to be one of the premier places to ride in the entire state, and for good reason, it is a ton of fun. There are lots of rolling sections with steep ups and downs as well as some longer hills. The scenic views and nice technical challenges, like rock gardens, drops, step ups, and roots also keep it interesting.

Lambert Park 11-3-11
I had planned to go up to Potato Hill and ride but the trail was covered with a light snow so I drove over to Lambert Park and spent some time on the trails there with Sam.
