Snowshoeing Tribble Fork With Sam & Jack

It was Saturday today and I only have a mid-week pass at Sundance, so I held to my word with my dogs and took them out for some fun in the snow. We went up American Fork Canyon to Tribble Fork Dam to do some much-needed snowshoeing. I took a camera with me this time and got 80 photos for you and 10 min of video, check it out for more on this trip.

Please leave a comment for Jack & Sam below, thanks.

Stomping Snow in Bear Canyon

Today I took Jack and Sam with me to do some snowshoeing in Bear Canyon Utah. Now Sam is built for the snow but Jack can only take about 1 hour before he starts to get to cold to walk. So we head up the trail at the back side of the Mutual Dell Campground and right off I realize that the snow is very deep and I can see Jack is going to have trouble pretty fast!

Check out the video for more on this adventure with Jack and Sam.

Snowshoeing Big Springs

The snow has been falling for a few days now and Sundance will be open on the 11th of December. So today Sam and I decided to take a trip out to Big Springs and do some snowshoeing. There was plenty of ground cover about one or two feet in places. It was about 3:00 pm and the temp outside was around 9 degrees when we hit the trail. Right away I got hot and had to stop and open some vents in my coat so I could cool down. It took us about 1 hour and 20 min to hit the top of Big Springs and about 45 min to get back down, I did run into two x-country skiers on the way back.

Check out the video for more on this trip.
